Each Boston style helmet front is handcrafted from three layers of leather with either a double canvas backer or customer supplied hose backer. Center characters are sunken, meaning that the center characters are cut out from the outer layer of leather. Boston fronts are made from patent (shiny) leather unless otherwise specified. All top or bottom text lines and characters are hand painted.
